The journey continues with a flight to Mekele, followed by a drive to Hawzien, visiting Tigrean rock-hewn churches along the way. In Gheralta, explore the famous Abune Yemata Church before traveling to Axum, where historic sites like the palace of Queen Sheba and the Church of Our Lady of Zion await.
From Axum, the tour moves to the Simien Mountains National Park for breathtaking hikes around Sankaber and Chenek, and visits to Jinbar waterfalls.
