This 7-day Ethiopian tour begins in Addis Ababa, with a city tour depending on the flight schedule. An early flight to Bahir Dar follows, featuring a boat ride on Lake Tana to visit ancient island monasteries and an excursion to the Blue Nile Falls. From Bahir Dar, travel to Gondar to explore the royal palaces, the Bath of Emperor Fassiladas, and the Debre Birhan Selassie Church. The journey continues with a flight to Axum, where travelers visit archaeological sites and the Tsion Church. Next, fly to Lalibela to see the first group of UNESCO-listed rock-hewn churches. A trek to Ashetn Maryam and visits to the second group of churches complete the Lalibela experience. The tour ends back in Addis Ababa with time for shopping and a traditional farewell dinner featuring cultural dances.
